Dr Gopal Iyengar is a retired engineer and Management academic, consultant and trainer. In addition to his profession, he was active in social work, namely in orphans, youth and senior care.

Currently he offers his time to community work. He identifies himself as a human being above all divisive practices and so aligns with causes of humanity while vigorously opposing all divisive and bigoted forces. His physical condition consigns him to back-end work in these causes
